The IRC is a Public Interest Group dedicated to cancer research.
It has legal personality and financial and scientific autonomy.
Founding Members
The IRC aims at developing an effective link between institutional and industrial actors in the research field. Their mission is to facilitate the development of national knowledge and expertise an to enable the pooling of scientific, technological and logistical means and skills (universities, research centers and pharmaceutical industry…) as well as to encourage the proper conduct of research projects with a high impact on the patient and in accordance with international standards and codes.
The construction of the IRC required an investment of 14 million MAD, financed by the Lalla Salma Foundation cancer prevention and treatment. It is built on land made available by the University Hospital Hassan II of Fez.
